Rules & Regulations for Retail Trust Search For A Star
Retail Trust Search For A Star is open for anyone who works or has ever worked in retail.
If you are applying as someone who has previously worked in retail then you must provide details of your previous employer.
Applicants must be singers (solo or group). Bands will not be accepted (due to equipment requirements).
Applicants can use acoustic equipment during their audition, providing they play the instrument themselves and take full responsibility of their own equipment. There are to be no amplifiers of any kind. Singing groups are welcome.
Applicants must make their own arrangements to attend the audition. Retail Trust will not cover any travel costs to attend the audition.
Applicants invited to attend the audition must sing accapella. There will be no equipment or resources to use any electronic equipment, including microphones, amplifiers, audio players or any other device.
Applicants will be given between 1-3 minutes to perform to a panel of judges.
Applicants will be held in a holding room prior to their audition. Applicants cannot bring family or friends into the holding room unless the applicant is under the age of 18 in which case are required to bring a parent/guardian.
Applicants must display their identification “act number” clearly on the outside of their clothes on their stomach.
Applicants must arrive ready to perform. There will be minimal facilities to change and apply make-up at the audition venues.
Applicants must conduct themselves in a considerate and respectable manner at all times throughout the duration of the campaign.
Applicants should notify Retail Trust immediately if they cannot attend their audition.
It is the responsibility of the applicant to notify Retail Trust of any changes to their contact information.
